If you are coming back to physical therapy for the same ailment, and it has been 3 months since you were last seen, you should also select an initial evaluation. This will allow us to properly evaluate your current situation and create a proper updated plan.

Chris is a caring and dedicated Physical Therapist based in New York. He earned his Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from Stony Brook University. Prior to that he earned his Bachelor’s of Science in Exercise Science from Adelphi University. Throughout his clinical career, Chris has had experience working with various patient populations and various conditions in subacute rehabilitation and multiple outpatient settings.

Chris is passionate about orthopedics and sports performance rehab with a strong passion for dance/performing arts performance stemming from his dance background growing up and his active involvement in the dance community today. He takes an individualized approach to help each of his patients manage pain, address the cause of their injury/limitations, and ultimately empower them to return to their active lifestyles.

Jimmy is a caring and dedicated physical therapist based in New York. He earned his Doctoral degree in physical therapy from Touro College, New York and Master of Science degree in Health and Rehabilitation Science in Musculoskeletal Physical Therapy from the University of Pittsburgh. Prior to that, he completed his Bachelor’s of physical therapy in Taiwan. He has experience working in hospitals, outpatient clinics, and sports teams.

Jimmy is passionate about orthopedic and sports field. He understands injury prevention and rehabilitation from a diverse patient population. He can not only ease pain, but also treat the causes of injuries and optimize movement. He has further experience treating athletes including runners, softball player and baseball players. He emphasizes a hands-on approach combined with therapeutic and corrective exercises to ensure the maximum progress.

He has taken many continuing education classes in order to advance his patient care practice including: dynamic neuromuscular stabilization, postural restoration institute, neurokinetic therapy, joint mobilization and manipulation, and soft tissue manipulation. Jimmy expands and applies his clinical knowledge to help his patients return to prior functional level and stay with active life.

Originally from Taiwan, he made his way to New York three years ago. John’s educational journey led him to graduate from Laguardia Community College with an Associate in Applied Science as a Physical Therapy Assistant. Through this program, he gained valuable knowledge and skills in assisting patients with their physical therapy needs, emphasizing the importance of proper movement and biomechanics.

Dr. Alexa Trontz graduated from the University of Delaware with a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science and a minor in Strength and Conditioning. She also played on the women’s club soccer team all four years in her undergraduate program. After graduating, Alexa continued to pursue both a Doctorate at New York Medical College and an ACE Personal Trainer Certification. Her passion for physical therapy, specifically orthopedics and sport performance rehab, grew from her personal experiences in the sports and fitness world.
