Noel earned his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from New York Medical College and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Human Biology from CUNY Hunter College. During his time in PT school, Noel gained hands-on experience as both a strength and conditioning coach and an online fitness coach. He has worked with a wide range of individuals—from powerlifters and basketball players to youth athletes and everyday active adults—helping them build strength, enhance performance, and move better.
Passionate about helping active individuals reach their fitness goals while navigating pain or injury, Noel takes an individualized, movement-based approach. He focuses on finding each person’s unique “training starting point” and integrates injury assessment into performance planning for sustainable progress.

Manny was born and raised in Astoria and is a true part of this community. Growing up here has shaped who he is today and is always happy to contribute back to the place he calls home.
Manny possesses a strong interest in manual physical therapy and sports rehabilitation. He has experience treating athletes in sports such as soccer, football, and MMA. Ramon began his physical therapy career nine years ago as an intern and trainer at Fit Club under Dr. Scantlebury’s mentorship, sparking his passion for the field. He earned a Bachelor’s in Exercise Science from Lehman College, assisting with research at the Lehman College Human Performance Lab, and later obtained a Master of Arts in Motor Learning from Columbia University while coaching volleyball and strength training for athletes across all levels—including basketball, baseball, and volleyball from collegiate to junior high school—before pursuing physical therapy school.

Dr. Kellen Scantlebury earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Stony Brook University and his Bachelor of Science from LIU Post, where he was a four-year starter on the Men’s Basketball Team. After graduating from LIU, his passion for fitness and helping others led him to earn a personal training certification from the American College of Sports Medicine. These early years laid the foundation for what would later become Fit Club NY. In 2013, Kellen became an NSCA Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, specializing in preventative exercise, functional movement, and weight loss.
During his time at Stony Brook, Kellen gained valuable clinical experience in orthopedics, sports rehabilitation, preventative care, and adult rehabilitation — including the unique opportunity to work with and treat the New York Jets at their training facility. Over the course of his career, he has also worked with professional pickleball athletes and members of the New Zealand Olympic Sailing Team, further expanding his expertise in high-performance sports care.
Kellen has extensive experience treating a wide range of musculoskeletal disorders, with a special interest in sports rehab, performance training, manual therapy, post-operative rehabilitation, and shoulder and spine pathologies. More recently, he has developed a passion for external pelvic floor therapy, especially for female athletes seeking to improve their performance and reduce symptoms related to athletic and sports activities.
He has collaborated with some of New York City’s leading orthopedic physicians to ensure five-star quality care, delivered presentations at Fortune 500 companies on evidence-based strategies for injury prevention and ergonomic setup, and volunteered at the NYC Marathon.
