Dr. Kellen Scantlebury earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Stony Brook University and his Bachelor of Science from LIU Post, where he was a four-year starter on the Men’s Basketball Team. After graduating from LIU, his passion for fitness and helping others led him to earn a personal training certification from the American College of Sports Medicine. These early years laid the foundation for what would later become Fit Club NY. In 2013, Kellen became an NSCA Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, specializing in preventative exercise, functional movement, and weight loss.

Originally from Houston, Texas, Mark began his athletic journey as a competitive gymnast at the men’s gymnastics Olympic training center, later expanding his experience into cheerleading and dance.
